Our Philosophy

Medical Director - Dr. Adamu Abdullahi Atterwahmie MBBS, CART, FWACS, PGDSRH

The Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kudu was established as a General Hospital in 1961 by the Late Premier of the defunct Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardaunan Sokoto.

The Hospital was later converted to a tertiary institution as a Federal Medical Centre in the year 2000.
