Cervical Cancer Colposcopy
This service was introduced in the year 2020. The goal is to screen women within the reproductive age group for cervical cancer and other associated conditions such as genital wart and cervical polyps.
A new colposcopy machine and its accessories were purchased and six (6) staff were trained at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi.
The specimens taken are now processed at our histopathology laboratory.
