Dr. Emmanuel Ajuluchukwu Ugwa is the current head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. He earned MBBCh, MSc, MBA, PhD, FMCOG, FWACS from reputable institutions within and outside Nigeria. He is an astute administrator, clinician, teacher and researcher. He has published over 55 well-researched studies and leads a team of dedicated staff to improve women’s reproductive health. His expertise’s are in obstetrics, gynaecology, reproductive health, perinatology, human resources for health, capacity development, health system strengthening and operations research.
