Total Hip Replacement
This is a major surgical operation performed by Orthopaedic Surgeons, it replaces the damaged hip joint completely using prosthesis. Between 2017 to 2021, we have observed an increase in the number of patients requiring this service.
During this period, we have successfully performed ten (10) total hip replacement surgeries. We are optimistic that when the orthopaedic ward/trauma centre is completed more of these surgeries will be performed in our hospital.
